ferite_incisionali.jpg

TAG: incisional wound, honey, rats, equine

The research activity is based on the creation, development and use of resorbable materials for application in medicine and surgery. The effects of the devices on the healing of incisional wounds are evaluated. In vivo tests on experimental animals are currently underway and treatments will soon begin on animals undergoing abdominal surgery. Some properties may be effective in surgery, in the prevention of complications such as infections and adhesions.
