S.V.A. - University Vet Service

The University Vet Service is part of the Research and Outreach Department located in the Department of Veterinary Sciences building. Founded in 1994, it gives advice on how to care for animals used for experimental or other scientific purposes in the University of Turin.

These services include:

providing the university with veterinary advice and clinical care (Art. 24 Legal Decree 26/2014);
providing animal welfare advice (Arts. 25 and 26 Legal Decree 26/2014);
liaising with the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Health concerning in vivo trials carried out by the University of Turin;
regularly reviewing all relevant university facilities.
