E-learning

E-learning consists in an online system of training/education based on the use of a technological platform. Moodle is the learning platform adopted by UniTo to enhance integration between E-learning and traditional learning allowing constant monitoring of the whole learning process. Moodle is designed to provide educators and learners with a single integrated system to create personalised learning environments. Teachers can upload and share documents, didactic material, assign students' homework, encourage communication through Moodle’s social networking tools, such as forums,  assess students for formative and/or summative purposes (e.g. quizzes, surveys).

Students can access content relevant to their interests by visiting their course website and searching by course (course website > studying > courses).

To access the Moodle platform, students must click onto the Moodle icon at the bottom of the page.

Problems related to the use of the platform can be reported using the following link https://askit.unito.it/servicedesk/customer/portal/12. To submit a report students must use their University credentials (SCU).

A number of guidelines for designing teaching content are available to teachers. Further support is also provided where necessary.

This section (https://intranet.unito.it/web/personale-unito/didattica-alternativa) contains guidelines to support teachers in creating alternative teaching contents, remote sessions, exams and online classes.

Further information on content creation are available under the "SAMEV info per i docenti" section.
