The pharmaceutical research is moving in last years to an improvement of formulations with nanoparticles, that can help to obtain better pharmacokinetic characteristics of active compounds. In this context, the team of prof. Re and dr. Vercelli has been involved in several projects coordinated by the Department of Drug Science and Technology of Turin (team: Prof. Gallarate and Dr. Sapino).
From this collaboration a project funded by CRT Foundation was born and a publication dealing with a new formulation of the cefuroxime applied on oftalmic human pathologies was written. New projects concerning compared medicine are under evaluation to obtain new fundings
