Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic investigations on non-steroidal and antimicrobial drugs in species of veterinary interest

TAG: pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, NSAIDs, antimicrobial

The rational use of drugs for species of interest in veterinary medicine must be continously updated. This is a good strategy not only to limit the AR phenomenon but to accurately find the dose for other drugs, like anti-inflammatory non-steroidal drugs. For all these compounds it is necessary to perform pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic investigations applied to each species. In this context the team of Prof. Re and Dr. Vercelli works thanks to national and international collaborations. From these collaborations several pubblications were born, dealing with the determination of different dosages of drugs and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic integrations for new species of companion animals and also for livestock.
