The Torino Territorial unit

The Torino Territorial unit of ISPA has a long tradition in research concerning two main lines, the first one aimed at improving the nutritional quality of feed and animal origin foods (milk, meat and fish) and at achieving safer products by monitoring and removing potentially toxic components.

The second research line deals with protein identification and characterization and with the development and application of Proteomic techniques (2D, protein sequencing, Mass spectrometry on protein and peptides, characterization of posttranslational modifications).

The staff is involved in several projects funded by the regional administration, national projects funded by MIPAF and MIUR, and European collaborations.
